VTG 4 Amber Fostoria Ice Dishes Bowls with Inserts Juice Cocktail Ceviche Glass.

These are 4 Amber Ice Dishes with “tomato juice” inserts, made in the USA by Fostoria circa 1930’s. Besides tomato juice, these can be used to keep cocktails cold as well as appetizers and desserts. Overall, they are in very good to excellent pre owned condition. There is some minor wear to the pieces; several light scratches, but general condition of the all the glass is quite clear. Please see photos for details. The inserts hold about 4 ounces with room to spare at the top of the glass. They measure 3 5/8”H with a 2 3/4” opening. The Ice Dishes measure 2 5/8”H with a 4 7/8” opening. The insert and dish together each weigh about 1 lb.

Crushed or cubed ice is placed in the Ice Dish and the inserts are place in the center compartment. This line was manufactured between 1931 and 1940.
