Pre-viewed for quality and the sourceprint being used is filmed in black & white with damage, scratches, crackling soundtrack, etc. are all in the very old film elements being used and not the tape. There is an occasional flash of snow sprinkled throughout and some quick rolling lines at 47 minutes. Played fine otherwise on my Sony vcr deck.

Cassette is clean, duplicated in the superior SP mode and has security stickers on the left endcap assuring you of first generation quality. The top label has a narrow 'please rewind tape' sticker across it's bottom edge. Out Of Print (OOP) as a stand-alone title.

The oversized box has been cut and mounted neatly in a white hardshell display case. As a result, some of the type on the back has been cut off on the right side, but you can still glean what it says. The artwork still looks good and appears to be taken from the original poster.

An unbeatable combination: William "one-shot" Beaudine and Bela Lugosi! William Beaudine directed over 150 movies from 1929 to 1966. Some of our other favorites include 'Voodoo Man' and 'Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla'. This incredibily ridiculous Monogram Studios horror features Bela as a scientist who injects himself with ape spinal fluid, becomes a werewolf-like monster, and sends his pet gorilla out to murder humans for their spinal fluid so he can revert to normal.

Reporters Wallace Ford and Louise Currie interfere. His sister approves; great stuff! A running gag features a man always peering through windows. At the end he says, "I'm the guy who wrote this picture!"
