(Lippia dulcis)Aztec Sweet Herb (tzopelicxihiutlin Nahuatl, the Aztec language) is surprisingly sweet. Because it containscamphor, its traditional uses included treating coughs and other respiratory ailments. We discourage the consumption of this plant and recommend it as an ornamental plant only. Aztec Sweet Herb spreads easily and produces small white flower clusters in spring and fall. The green foliage is dense, low growing, and spreads like mint.
