Follow this procedure to ensure precise adjustment:
(1) Make sure your equipment is unloaded and placed in a tool tray or other holder.
(2) Put the reference level on the flat spot around the area that you're going to mount the scope and be sure that the bubble is centered in the two indication marks of the vial and perpendicular to the barrel.
(3) By turning the adjustment knob of the barrel clamp level, gently secure it to the barrel. Slide it toward the fore-end, and you don't need to over tighten it, set the level roughly near, just pinch it on there, and don't crush the barrel.
(4) Using the thumb turn on top of the barrel clamp level until the bubble matches the one on the reference level. Then the reference level can remove now.
(5) Put the scope in the lower rings and don't tighten down leave a little place, so the scope has adequate space for adjustment later. And get your eye relief set, get everything lined up, make sure it is comfortable for you.
(6) Once the scope is where you want it for your eye, place the reference level on the scope's elevation turret, rotate in the mouths until a matches the barrel clamp level, ensure the bubble is precisely contented in the two indication marks.
(7) Please double-check that the two levels are completely aligned and secure in place. The scope is then perfectly aligned with your equipment.
