• Condition: Both the lid and base are free of chips, cracks, crazing and fleabites, including the underside of the lid. The gold decor is excellent with only slight wear. The interior is very clean with no residue or mineral deposits. There are no notable marks or scratches from use and storage. The bottom has light shelf wear as expected. Both the interior and exterior of the bowl is hand painted. The bowl is marked "H&Co, L, France" in green underglaze, Mark H, which was used between 1888 and 1896. Both pieces are decorator marked "Haviland & Co. Limoges" in red, mark c, used between 1889 and 1931.
