Vinyl plays with crackles, clicks, and a few pops (play-graded). Cover looks good, moderate scuffing, creasing, surface impressions and a few discoloration spots (front/back); small tear on back near bottom center. Inner-sleeve is original (MCA logo). Spine is easy-to-read with some wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)
Just for the Record, by Barbara Mandrell, features two Top 5 Country hit singles. The first, Fooled by a Feeling also peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 and on the Top 30 on the Adult Contemporary charts. The second single, Years, went to No. 1, as well as the Top 40 on the Adult Contemporary charts. This exemplified Mandrell's new crossover style. The album was produced by Tom Collins, who helped Mandrell bring out this Pop sound onto her albums. The album also included a cover of a pop tune called Darlin', also recorded by Tom Jones. Just for the Record proved to be very successful, peaking at No. 9 on the Top Country Albums chart in 1979, as well as reaching No. 166 on the Billboard 200, her third album to peak on the Billboard 200.
