For sale is an authentic Louis Vuitton Suhali Lockit PM handbag in *near-new* condition, carried twice (see details below). This is from my personal collection, and I purchased it myself directly from Louis Vuitton in New York, a little over a year ago. It has been stored in its dust cover in my non-smoking, pet-free home.

Included are the original Louis Vuitton gift box (the molded case style, not the foldable kind), dust cover, booklet, and material tag.

This model currently sells for $2640 (plus whatever tax and shipping applies to your state). I paid full price, $2630 at the time, for this bag at the boutique. I am selling it for well less than I paid. This is the color blue, which was recently retired and is now hard to find. I love this bag, and it pains me to sell it. It is absolutely gorgeous, but it deserves to have a better fate than sitting in my closet, where it has remained, untouched, for a year.

This bag is made from goatskin, which shows the color beautifully. It is a strong, yet supple and luxurious appearance and feel. The bag has a top zipper closure and an interior zipper pocket. Dimensions (per the Louis Vuitton website): 12.5" x 15.2" x 3.9".

I've only carried it twice, for at the most a few hours total, indoors for the vast majority of that time. Some might say that I merely tried it on for a while. The bag is so unused that the protective blue film remains on the interior zipper and the bottom metal feet. The interior lining is very clean, because I placed a removable purse liner/organizer inside it when I used it. The hardware is shiny, and the contrast glazing is intact and clean.

Because I've barely used it, it really looks like a new bag to me. For purposes of this listing, though, I scrutinized the bag and tried to identify things that might be perceived as imperfections, although I really don't see them this way. Most of the things I found are not noticeable unless you're looking for them, and I've actually seen bags in worse condition being sold as new at LV and Neiman Marcus. But I'm noting these details for full disclosure. I see a small mark on the side of the lock; it is not a scratch, rather, it probably left the factory that way because it is polished over that area. It does not show up in my photos. There is a narrow darkened area on the top zipper that might be finishing residue from production--it is not a stain of my making. There is also a pin-size mark on the handle that is the color of the contrast glaze. These are magnified in the photos, but I didn't even notice them until I started photography for this sale. The brass looks perfect to me, but if there is any darkening, my understanding is that oxidation is natural and can be easily remedied with brass polish.

See photos for details; I tried to take representative photos. The bag remains in beautiful condition. But because I have used it, albeit carefully and very sparingly, I cannot in good consciencerepresent it to be new or pristine, and I took pains to detail minute imperfections. I definitely would keep it if I weren't trying to cull my collection.
