What is Giclee?
A modern printmaking process in which individual prints are produced on a special large-format printer in extremely high resolution, to give as exact as possible a reproduction of the precise colors and strokes of the original work. The giclee process offers the highest-quality reproduction available. Giclees may be printed on paper or on canvas. They are rarely produced in editions larger than a few hundred, with each one printed individually.

Tamara Dolidze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia (former Soviet Union) in 1963. Dolidze has been recognized to have shown immense tenacity in learning about the art of painting. This combined with an innate talent has resulted in breathtaking art.

Dolidze's first art exhibit was part of a 1986-1991 tour of the Soviet Union. The exhibit made stops in Baku, Azerbaijan, Odessa Ukraine, Yerevan, and Armenia. Her works have since been displayed to audiences throughout the world. Tamara Dolidze's has been awarded numerous certificates of outstanding artist accomplishments from the Georgian Government. Dolidze's style continues to mature, and her mixtures of classic and contemporary methods result in extraordinarily original artwork.
