Wedgwood jasper ware dish is a plate / plaque made to commemorate the 1970 bicentennial of Captain James Cooks' landing in Australia in 1770.  The portrait cameo depicts Capt Cook in profile and was produced about 1784 by John Flaxman.  The dish is sky blue with white cameo and trim; the trim is a wreath of oak leaves and acorns.

This is typically called a sweet dish, pin tray, mini plaque, or compotier; although it is really too small to be considered a compotier.  Dish is round, and measures 4 - 3/8 inches across.  It is numbered 30 of a Limited Edition of 2500 pieces.  Markings on bottom are WEDGWOOD, MADE IN ENGLAND, G R, and LIMITED EDITION 30 / 2500.

This dish was acquired from a china cabinet at an estate dispersal, and appears to have never been used or hung to display.  There are no chips or cracks in the piece; it looks new.  A very pretty little item to display in your Wedgwood or Australian memorabilia / souvenir collection, or simply to use on your dresser to hold jewelry pieces.

I am happy to combine shipping, and please check back.  I have many estate items to list in the near future.
