This pendant is simply breath taking! crafted in solid 18k yellow gold and set with well polished solid black Australian Opal triangle cabochon. this is not doublet or triplet but solid natural untreated Australian opal! opal has no cracks and no crazing - the chain is 14k yellow solid gold and comes with it approx near 17.5-18”. the pendant total lenght approx 45mm! opal is approx 9x5 mm at widest and approx 0.80-1.20Ct. the opal multiprong set - it is a thick slice and the prong are long and hold it very secure. the pendant marked 18k but tests as 14k solid yellow gold. set with 3.2mm red not dyed coral ball, 3.2mm sea pearl and 5mm turquoise ball. the spyder has the enamel like black on gold. the weight approx 2.34g total. the chain can be removed and used searate with another pendant you may have. also another chain can be used - the opening is large approx 4 mm and can accomodate much thicker chain. any spots are just light reflections on the photo from highly polished surfaces.as with most opals the colors are stronger on the Sun and direct indoor light and not so in a dark/low light. this opal shows fire when looked at from one side - left - the side video was taken and no so much/ no fire if looked at from another - right side. this opal shows best colors with Sun/direct strong light. the video and first photo taken indoors evening strong light. the other photos taken in day light near window no Sun.
