This 4" X 6" print of a painting of a WWII French Moraine-Saulnier M.S. 406 fighter aircraft has a military green wooden frame. The frame measures 6.5" X 8.5" and has a routered piece on the back for hanging on the wall. A mounting screw is included along with a dowel for displaying on a shelf or desk. The Moraine-Saulnier M.S. 405 was the first low-wing monoplane with an enclosed cockpit and retractable landing gear built by the French. The M.S. 406 entered service in 1939 and although it was sturdy and maneuverable, it was underpowered and poorly armed compared to the German Bf-109 during the Battle of France. This item is proudly made it the US by a veteran owned company!
