This pendant is simply breath taking! crafted in solid 14k yellow gold and set with large well polished solid Fire Australian Opal. this is not doublet or triplet but solid natural untreated Australian opal! opal has no cracks and no crazing - please see photo agains light. there are diamonds as well! and princess cut natural emerald! please see how beautifully made it is! a work of Art! made in Victorian style - opal and emerald multiprong set as fashioned in Victorian era - it is antique/vintage item! the chain comes with it approx near 17.5-18”. the pendant total lenght approx 32mm! - it is substantial cabochon which would make a large ring if was set in a ring setting. please see photo near the ruler. opal is approx 16x6.5 mm at widest and approx 4Ct. opal is well rounded and not thin, the neon fire is all over entire body of the opal! the camera does not show well the fire - opals are difficult to photograph. the emerald does not have any yellow but saturated transparent cold green color - very good saturated color! camera may show it yellowish but it is not in reality. the emerald approx 3.9mm and approx 0.37Ct the diamonds are approx 1.8mm each - 8 total. approx 2.22g. the chain can be removed and used searate with another pendant you may have. any spots are just light reflections on the photo from highly polished surfaces.as with most opals the colors are stronger on the Sun and direct indoor light and not so in a dark/low light. please see last photo for the indoor light which was used to take photos. this opal shows best colors with Sun/direct strong light.
