this ring is GORGEOUS!! you will love it!

Really large Antique or vintage (looks like Victorian, but could be later) ring set with one big (approx 18x15mm -8-8.5CT by formula) Green Beryl - Emerald and natural old cut diamonds -3 rows! each approx 1.2-1.3mm.

total carat weight of emerald and diamonds approx 9CTW+

the emerald is semi-translucent with plenty of jardines! it is not opaque - please see 2nd photo against light.

it is hallmarked on the band 14k (11th photo) and made of solid yellow gold! also the bezel setting for the emerald made of solid 14k yellow gold.

all of the diamonds set into solid 925 Silver probably mixed wit Palladium )the top part of the ring made of solid silver while the other parts made of solid 14k yellow gold) the diamonds set into scalloped like little petals around the Emerald! in Victorian era diamonds often been set in sterling silver, because white gold was unknown at that time and only was discovered in approx 1920ss. so when a master jeweler wanted to accent diamonds and make them stand out he would choose sterling silver or palladium, platinum. in this ring the silver top does not get tarnished as pure sterling would so probably it is alloy of sterling with palladium or something similar.

the ring is approx size 7.5 and heavy 18g!

the band is really thick and wears comfortably! the face of the ring approx 32x29mm!

In great antique condition with NO problems! the emerald free of damages, does not have cracks/chips or open fractures! only under magnification very light wear (please see last photo of the surface)! it also most likely untreated; does not have any traces of dye or fillers.
