My shop name is winebeerglasses, same as my former Etsy shop (see the last image).  I have a perfect 5-star customer rating from my buyers at Etsy for five years.  I left Etsy because Etsy's customer support is unbearable.  I decided to migrate to Bonanza.

I build and restore vintage automatic watches as a hobby using my knowledge in precision engineering and aesthetics.  All my watches are freshly lubricated, timegrapher regulated, and cleaned to restore the pleasure of wearing a vintage watch with its full functionalities and timing performance.

I do not use Chinese-made parts, even the spring bars are Swiss Made.

This is a nice Bulova Sea King great whale automatic, made in 1970, with a dating code N0. The crystal has been polished to be clean and clear. It has their last in-house movement 11ANACD. This movement is coated in gold and is in a pristine condition. Shake it, you hear the sweet winding sound. Hold it close to your ear, you hear the crispy ticking. 11AN is the base caliber, the next A is for automatic, the C is for centre second and D is for date. This movement has an unique bi-direction automatic winding mechanism, superior to most ETA movements at the same time period, in my opinion.

The dial is in nice condition. The great whale print is sharp and in good contrast.

It keeps very accurate time. Bulova in-house movement such as 10BPAC, 11ANACD, 11BLACD, etc. are excellent and underrated. With proper regulation, they can be precise within seconds per day. You can google this movement for more details. In my opinion, Bulova, after late 70s, was no longer making interestingly good watches. This example belongs to the last great watch line from Bulova, in my opinion.

As in any vintage watches, keep it from water. NOT water resistant!!!

The dial is attractive gold, original Bulova, and the case is gold tone with nice diamond-ish pattern around the crystal. I took many pictures for you to review its quality and condition. It is about 33 mm across and 38 mm lug to lug, medium size for a classical look, not those outlandish large but cheaply made watches flooding the store.

The sale is final. However, I will offer 3-month free maintenance. The buyer only pays one way shipping back to me and I will fix it should it develop any issues and ship it back for free.

It is time to wear something different against the onslaught of electronics. In terms of the art of mechanical design, 60s and 70s were the peak. After that, it is all half electronics or full electronics.
