Rubberwood is a hardwood from the maple family of
woods

Rubberwood is often the most misunderstood species of wood in the furniture
industry. The name rubberwood invokes a variety of misconceptions as to its
features and durability. Rubberwood (also called Parawood in Thailand ) is
the standard common name for the timber of Hevea Brasiliensis.
In fact, rubberwood is one of the more durable lumbers used in the manufacturing
of today's home furnishings. As a member of the maple family, rubberwood has a
dense grain character that is easily controlled in the kiln drying process.
Rubberwood has very little shrinkage making it one of the more stable
construction materials available for furniture manufacturing.
Like maple, rubberwood is a sap producing species. In the case of maple, it
is sap; in the case of rubberwood, it is latex. Rubberwood produces all the
latex used in the world for all rubber based products.
There is one more important feature of rubberwood
that is very important in today's world. Rubberwood is the most ecologically "friendly" lumber
used in today's furniture industry. After the economic life of the rubber tree,
which is generally 26-30 years, the latex yields become extremely low and the
planters then fell the rubber trees and plant new ones. So, unlike other woods
that are cut down for the sole purpose of producing furniture, rubberwood is
used only after it completes its latex producing cycle and dies. This wood is
therefore eco-friendly in the sense that we are now using what was going as
waste.
Do not mistake the name rubberwood when it comes to its quality
features.

FREIGHT DELIVERY - FOR 3 PIECE SET
Your furniture is
individually boxed or packaged in foam and is delivered strapped to one, or a
number of pallets. Once it arrives to your home town, you'll get a phone call
to schedule a delivery appointment for the next business day or as soon as you
can accept it thereafter (usually a 4-hour window where you need to be present
at the time of delivery to inspect product packaging for potential damage prior
to signing a release form). Your advertised price only includes the driver
pulling up to the end of your driveway in a big semi-truck and moving the
pallet(s) with your order to the back of the trailer. From that point, the
driver should unwrap your order from the pallet(s) into its individual
packaging or boxes. You will then need to move each individually boxed or
packaged piece from the back of the trailer and into your home. Large furniture
can be heavy and cumbersome so be sure to have your kids, family,
neighbors, friends, pets, etc. Available to help. If you don't own a flat
bed hand truck (dolly), we strongly recommend renting one. If you would like to
add an optional lift gate service to your order (not automatically included at
our advertised price), where the driver will off-load your pallet(s) from the
back of the truck and onto the ground using a hydraulic lift gate & pallet
jack please let us know. Still, from that point on the ground, you’ll need to get
the item(s) into your home. However, some drivers may, at your request, roll
the pallet(s) up your driveway and into your garage (as long as your driveway
isn’t a mile long, up a hill, or made of gravel). There are also upgraded
delivery services like ‘inside first dry area’ – also known as ‘threshold’;
‘room of choice’ (includes up to 2 staircases); ‘room of choice and packaging
removal’; and ‘room of choice, packaging removal and basic tools with light
assembly’ (up to 30 minutes). Let us know if you'll need additional delivery
service beyond 'back-of-truck' after placing your order so we can offer that
additional service. Finally, once shipped, we will email specific delivery
and acceptance guidelines which must be followed to validate insurance coverage.
