Davy Jones appeared in the musical "Pickwick," which was based on Charles Dickens' "The Pickwick Papers." The musical opened in 1963 in the West End, and Jones later joined the production when it was produced by David Merrick on Broadway, debuting at the 46th Street Theatre on October 4, 1965. He played the role of Sam Weller. This Broadway production, which featured music by Cyril Ornadel and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, closed on November 20, 1965, after 56 performances. The role of Sam Weller was also portrayed by Roy Castle, and the cast included other notable performers such as Harry Secombe as Pickwick and Charlotte Rae as Mrs. Bardell. The musical is remembered for the song "If I Ruled The World," which became a signature tune for Harry Secombe and has been covered by many artists, including Tony Bennett and Sammy Davis Jr. The performance of Jones as Sam Weller in "Pickwick" in Hollywood was pivotal for his career, as it led to his casting in "The Monkees".

Shipping Policy
Due to ever increasing postage costs, shipping is charged separately rather than hidden in the item's price. This method is more equitable, allowing customers closer in proximity to benefit from reduced shipping costs. For orders with multiple items, I'm happy to offer combined shipping (which can further save on shipping expenses). Returns are accepted, provided the item is returned in the same condition it was received.
