Love is Strange, by Betty Everett & Jerry Butler, was released as a single from their album Delicious Together. The song was originally recorded by R&B duet Mickey & Sylvia. Everett and Butler's version peaked at No. 42 on the Hot R&B Songs Chart. The two were considered singing partners and performed several duets. They released more than one album together. Butler is the original lead singer of the R&B group the Impressions, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Everett was a soul singer and pianist. She was best known for her biggest hit single, the million-selling Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss), and her duet Let It Be Me with Butler.
