If you like orange flowers you'll love 'Chojuraku', a flowering Quince that produces loads of long-lasting, 2-inch wide, orange double flowers along its branches in late winter through early spring. If you want to enjoy the beautiful flowers indoors simply cut budded branches and put them in your favorite vase. The warmer interior environment will force the buds to open. Flowering Quince are long-lived and exceptionally easy to grow requiring little to no maintenance.

Quince are exceptionally easy to grow. They adapt to most any type of moist but well-drained soil, preferring a loamy soil. Flower production is best in full to mostly sun, however plants will grow in part shade. We suggest at least 5 hours of direct sunlight for best flowering. Plants are very drought tolerant when established. The flowers are born on old growth (last years branches) so prune annually for shaping purpose immediately after the bloom.
