You are buying a AUTHENTIC PERIOD ART NOUVEAU STERLING SILVER 1 3/8” wide/long PIN circa 1910. This pin has an unusual scene of a boy and girl on a swing. The back is marked sterling and MAKER MARKED THEODORE FOSTER & BAILEY 1879-1951 Providence Rhode Island. The pin closure is an original old C clasp. This pin is fairly heavy weighing 12.2 grams it does have a slight hollow core and made this way to keep it from being too heavy and pulling down your blouse.
The condition is very good no dents, no excessive wear, pin is straight with slight waviness and scratches. This pin does have the manufacture seam partially visible on the bottom (see last picture).
