This is a vintage SET of 6 pottery pieces, a pitcher and five matching cups, from the artist area of Tonala in the state Jalisco, Mexico. This set has a slightly raised glaze painted design on unsealed stoneware.  Pieces are a very nice natural looking warm toned stoneware pottery.  Pitcher approximately measures 10" tall x 7" wide including handle and spout (opening almost 4" wide in diameter).  Each cup is about 4.75" tall x 3.75" wide in diameter.  Entire set weighs about 5 lbs.  Pitcher contains markings of "Tonala - Jal. Mex." and artist initial / mark.  Cups just contain the artist marking.  We couldn't definitively track down the artist.  All pieces are in great pre-owned vintage condition with no signs of damage or excessive wear.
