This is a very nice stoneware SET of 14 pieces from quality maker Otagiri of Japan that includes a LARGE bowl, 12 individual bowls / cups and a unique ladle.  Approximate size of the large bowl, which could be used for soup, punch, chili/stews, egg nog, cider, and the similar, is 13.25 " wide when measuring the diameter across x 7.5" tall (off the table).  Each individual bowl has approximately a 3.5" diameter width x 3" tall.  The ladle, which is a gorgeous and unique piece, is about 10.5" long with the ladle 4.5" wide at the widest part of the cup and about 1.75-2" wide on the handle.  This is truly a heavy stoneware set and very durable.  Note that pictures show 12 cups but we found an extra one and so really there are 13 cups (a nice security in case you ever break one). 

All pieces are in great pre-owned vintage condition with no damage or signs of excessive wear at all to report.  Very nice and very substantial set.  Just truly unique and gorgeous...
