My First Sony Transistor Radio - 1987 - Works EUC

Introduced by Sony in 1987 and ended in the 1990’s this MY FIRST SONY line was aimed at a younger audience.  

It featured rounded shapes, big buttons, bold red, yellow, blue gender neutral colors.  

Though looking like toys, Sony was adamant that these were full fledged electronic devices and marketed them as such to the parents.  

They were sold by Toys R Us, Child World, etc. 

• No chips, cracks.  

• Two new batteries AA, installed.            

• Size  4 1/4”x3x1”.   

• Fully working.
