• Condition: The compote is free of chips, cracks and fleabites, though there is some minor roughness (and excess glass) on the edge of the foot. There are no notable marks from use or storage. There are no notable flaws in the glass. The foot has light shelf wear as expected. The glass is clear, free of cloudiness with a light green glow under UV light. It has wonderful bell-like resonance.
Diamond Thumbprint was produced by several companies in the 1860's including Boston and Sandwich, McKee Brothers, Bakewell Pears and Union. No records have been found connecting the Concentric Rings variant with a specific manufacturer.
