The Wireless-G Range Expander (WRE54G) allows you to extend the standard range of your wireless router or access point.  This device acts like a signal repeater and expands the range of your wireless network.

Wireless Range Expander’s Front Panel and LEDs

The Link LED

The Link LED lights up when the range expander is powered ON.  This indicates the connection status of your wireless range expander to a compatible Linksys wireless router or wireless access point.

Blue Light
The Link LED lights up blue when the range expander has established a link to an access point or wireless router.

Red Light
The Link LED lights up red when the range expander has not established a link to any access point or wireless router.

The Activity LED

The Activity LED lights up when the range expander is powered ON.  This indicates if there is ongoing wireless network activity.  It lights up in a steady blue color for inactivity status or will continually flash otherwise.
