Vintage 1930 Photograph Palos Verdes California Dedicating Malaga Cove Fountain
Caption on back: "PV/8 Dedicating Neptune's Fountain in the Malaga Cove Plaza, 1930."
According to our research, this occurred on Feb. 16, 1930, and C. Herrick Hammond, President of the American Institute of Architects, addressed the attendees
Attendees included Palos Verdes landowner Frank Vanderlip, pioneer resident and activist Romayne Martin, first Art Jury president Myron Hunt and renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr.
Found at a local Palos Verdes estate sale, we are not sure if this dates to 1930 or was printed a little later, but it is an old print on an old matte
Measures about 8-1/4" by 9-1/4" including the matte
