This is a vintage pair of large, framed fashion prints marked "Leroy Imp Paris". Each print is entitled "La Mode Illustree" along with a description "Bureaux du Journal, 56 Rue Jacob Paris". According to the article referenced below, the Sidney Lucas Gallery in New York, in business between the 1920s and the 1960s, formed the Paris Etching Society. Lucas commissioned European artists to create originals which were hand colored, signed, and titled. I am not sure if these are lithographs or prints. Each is still in its lovely, original frame (likely cherry or mahogany).  At the minimum, these date to the 1960s because they were in my Grandmother's home for as long as I can recall. Best guess, they date to the 1940s or 1950s. Each of the prints has small smudges (See photos closeups for details) but are otherwise in great shape having been on the same wall for at least 50 years. The back of the frames were taped at some point, holding the backing to the prints.  There is also several spots on the frames that have been damaged over the years, one small section (.5") has been re-glued.The frames measure about 18" x 15".
