This is a vintage Marvella faux pearl beaded necklace in beige with a white pearl and rhinestone clasp. Marvella was a fine line of quality Costume Jewelry founded by Weinreich Brothers Co around 1911. The brand offered a variety of product lines including the Complexation tone line that was introduced in 1940. In 1950, the name changed to Marvella Pearls and in 1965 to Marvella Inc. The company was acquired in 1982. This necklace belonged to my Mother-in-law and along with the complexation color and Marvella mark, best guess for a date would be late 1940s to early 1960s. The necklace is in great shape except the prong attachment that should fit into the rhinestone clasp is broken and needs to be repaired. The necklace is about 30" long in total, making it about a 15" around the neck.
