This is a beautiful sweet iron smooth snaffle bit with amazing Sterling Silver engraved loose jaw "swivel" Loomis style shanks. The bit is unmarked, but is similar quality to Vogt and Fleming Mexico import bits. The bit is in well maintained pre owned lightly used condition and there is some light rusting to both the mouthpiece as is typical of sweet iron.
This is a very well made custom bit with a 3/8 inch diameter x 4-7/8 inch sweet iron smooth snaffle bit featuring copper inlays on the back side of the mouthpiece. The total shank length is 7-1/2 inches and the purchase is 2-3/4 inches for a 2.73 to one leverage ratio and weighs in at 17.35 ounces. This stunning bit will make a great addition to your show bit collection and will look great in any show ring setting.
