When I test printers, I plug them in and let them go through the self test. That is the extent of the test.

I generally sell printers, faxes, and scanners as untested because I don't have the software or ink to properly test the items. I sell them as non working but they almost always perform fine with the correct equipment.  I will note any noticeable flaws.

I purchased this item from a local government facility.  

Item: HP Laserjet P3005d Monochrome Laser Printer.  Item powers on and "Attention" light came on.  I was unable to get the light to turn off.  I also could not get the manual feed tray to stay closed.  Please see photos.
