This part was removed from a 1982 Delorean DMC12.  This vehicle was equipped with a standard engine and manual transmission.  The odometer reads 28k miles.  This vehicle had a grey interior and the build date was Dec 1981.  This vehicle sat outside for a very long time so please view the photos closely. 

This is a: Fuel Tank Accumulator.  Please see one of the fittings is broken off of this.  This will need repair before installation.  See photos.
