GOLD PROMO stamp on front. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). 12" Single. Cover looks great, a few creases near edges; very-little scuffing, faint surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions near top-left on front. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read, with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; slightly heavier wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of very-light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

Sleepless, by King Crimson, was released as a single in 1984. The track is best known for its distinctive opening bassline which features Tony Levin slapping on the strings to create a pulsating beat, and for the music video in which all four members of the band appeared. The single hit No. 51 on US Rock charts. King Crimson were a progressive rock band formed in 1968 in London, England. The band drew inspiration from a wide variety of music, incorporating elements of classical, jazz, folk, heavy metal, gamelan, industrial, electronic, experimental music and new wave. They exerted a strong influence on the early 1970s progressive rock movement, including on contemporaries such as Yes and Genesis, and continue to inspire subsequent generations of artists across multiple genres. The band earned a large cult following.
