This black plastic bound recipe book is compiled by Peg Hein. It is titled: Tastes and Tales From Texas with Love, and features a Longhorn on the front cover. It was copyright 1984, and this is the 1988 printing. The book features recipes gathered from people and restaurants around the state of Texas, along with little snippets of tales about cities, and historical figures from Texas.

The book is bound with what is called a comb, although it is also at times referred to as being spiral bound. It is in good condition, with minor wear and discoloration to the front and back covers, wear along the edges, and some rounding of page corners. A great addition to any recipe book collection. And yes, it does have a recipe for King Ranch Casserole in it.
