Harvard Classics Five-Foot Shelf of Books 1938: 17 Dollars Each, Eliz. Drama, Sacred Writings, Eng. Poetry, Pascal, Tennyson, Whitman, Intro. . .

Harvard Classics are such handsome books--they are great for office or library decor. Collectors seek them because they won't be printed again in these older editions--possibly not at all.

Very good vintage condition. Discoloration of text  block (common with old books) and moderate shelf wear. Bindings are strong except for #48, which shows a weakened internal binding.

These books do not state the printing number--some of them say 1910 only; some say 1910 and 1938 (the latest year on the copyright pages). So I'm unsure what year they were printed--I just know it was  1938 or later. They measure 8 x  5 and three-quarter inches.
