1962 almanac advertising calendar published for the Read's Drug Stores.  It measures 11" x 8-1/4" when closed and 11" x 16-1/2" when fully opened.  

Each month has colorful graphics for that particular month.  Featured are Recipes for that month, Household Hints, Beauty Tips, Almanac, Horoscope, Your Health and Memoranda for keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries, etc.  Many different products sold in drug stores are advertised on the monthly pages.

The January through June pages have small tears at the tops of the pages at the center openings.  There is some discoloration from age but nothing objectionable that would detract from displaying this calendar.  

This is a nice vintage calendar with lots of advertisements, first aid procedures, decorating and kitchen bonus tips, medicine chest/emergency antidotes information and also civil defense instructions.

Note:  This calendar is complete with all 12 months but they are not all photographed.
