Fish Food: THE YOUNG GEISHA Watches with apprehension as a hungry fish ponders the delicacy of a blue parakeet. Silver foil highlights the green tissue that serves as the ocean background with prismatic air bubbles.

The focus of my work has been creating diminutive mixed media collages 3” x 3” centered on 7.5” x 7.5” 300# watercolor paper with deckled edges. They exhibit a whimsical or nostalgic focus, using acrylic paints, copper/ gold/ silver foils, found images, sheet music, dried natural materials, postage stamps, feathers, street detritus, magazine photographs, handmade paper, tissue and variety papers, Japanese paste papers, and watercolor papers.
