This is an absolutely sensational handcrafted stamped silver and Turquoise concho belt by Navajo artisan Verna Blackgoat.
This gorgeous Santa Fe style concho belt features seven extra large conchos and eight butterflies handmade from durable nickel silver. Each concho and butterfly was hand stamped with traditional Southwestern designs and repousse details. A hand cut cab of sky blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise was set in the centers for fabulous contrast. Leather backing was added for more durability. The large nickel silver belt buckle features fine line designs as well as a hand cut turquoise cab in the center. The conchos, butterflies and buckle were polished to a Santa Fe satin finish to complete the look.
The conchos measure approx 3" round, the butterflies measure about 7/8" x 2 1/2" and the buckle measures approx 3" x 3 3/4" long. These come on a 48" soft brown leather belt. Buckle is stamped Handmade and hallmarked with shop symbol by the Navajo master silversmith. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
