This is a vintage Sahara Las Vegas Hotel and Casino gambling $1 token.  This token is worn from use.  Sahara first opened Oct 7, 1952 and closed May 16, 2011.  It reopened as the Sahara August 29, 2019 after becoming the SLS in 2011.  Token is pre 2000 as it was found in a box with miscellaneous tokens and chips from Las Vegas Nevada casinos.
