Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks good, a few creases near edges and corners; light scuffing, small discoloration spots and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photo and album info); three sides partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of some use and slight curling of edges. Factory-applied stickers that correct track information on back and inner-gate. (Not a cut-out.)
Tale Spinnin', by Weather Report, features the addition of Leon "Ndugu" Chancler on the drums. Ndugu was recruited after Josef Zawinul heard him play with Carlos Santana. Weather Report was recording next door to Ndugu in the studio, and Chancler was asked to join them for a recording session. That session ended up lasting a week and produced Tale Spinnin'. After the record, Ndugu was asked to join the band as a permanent member, but declined in favor of continuing to work with Carlos Santana. The project won the Down Beat best album award for 1975.
