Hartmann VEROVAL gluten intolerance home test
Gluten intolerance
Recurring stomach problems such as a bloated stomach, abdominal pain or diarrhea that often come after a meal can be caused by gluten intolerance. Gluten is a protein found in various foods containing cereals, e.g. in bread, pasta or pizza. These problems in their most serious form, celiac disease, can lead to weight loss, lack of certain substances and even skin diseases. Thanks to the Veroval® home test from HARTMANN, you can quickly and safely find out whether your problems are caused by gluten intolerance and whether a gluten-free diet would help you. All it takes is one drop of blood from the tip of your finger and ten minutes of your time.
- Testing in the comfort of your home
- You can read the result after 10 minutes
- Accuracy higher than 98% proven by studies
How does the test work?
A test from a small blood sample detects the presence of antibodies against transglutaminase (IgA antibodies), which are a sign of gluten intolerance. This test is suitable for initial diagnosis, but also for monitoring the course of treatment. With a gluten-free diet, IgA antibodies disappear within a few weeks. After 6 months, antibodies are no longer detectable. The reliability of the Veroval test for gluten intolerance is higher than 98%.
