Gorgeous limited edition 1970 Couroc 200th Anniversary
Bicentennial Commemorative tray depicting the discovery of Old Monterey,
California! This tray was specially produced for the Old Monterey
Bicentennial with an embedded solid bronze medallion coin depicting Padre Serra with Gaspar
De Portola, who founded Monterey in 1770. This tray is a beauty and a treasured Couroc for its exceptional beauty and design which is entirely inlaid
by master craftsmen of bronze, shell, woods, and metals, fused into
Couroc's famous satin black bakelite or phenolic resin material which is
impervious to alcohol, boiling water, and burns. This platter has the
raised circle feet underneath to protect tray and furniture surface. The tray has been well
cared for and perfect for your next happy hour or Couroc collection!
Tray is in excellent condition! No cracks or splits! The usual pre-loved light surface & scuff wear here and there from years of Madge keeping her cocktail parties booming, but nothing that distracts from this amazing gem of Couroc history! Please see enlarged pics for best description and details.
