German Laffly W15T Becker 4-rad armored personnel carrier
The Laffly W15T was a 6x6 light artillery tractor designed to tow the 25 mm anti-aircraft gun and also the 47 mm anti-tank gun, many were captured by the Germans and put into use. Alfred Becker started converting captured vehicles to be used as substitute standard equipment by the Wehrmacht, one of such conversions used the Laffly W15T truck with an armored body installed in the chassis to convert it into an armored personnel carrier, these vehicles were used for occupation duties in France and fought during the Normandy campaign. The variant depicted is the conversion that had one rear axle taken and converted to 4 wheels.
This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas.
This model is made in six parts, hull front, hull back and tires. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning by the buyer will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue.
The pictures are from one sample model and some painted shots, the models are similar in grade of detail after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
