Exceptional Grape Vine by Gorham sterling silver champagne cooler or Loving Cup marked #A1112. This piece is a work of art with three branch-style handles and finely detailed applied leaves, vines, and grapes.
This piece holds 4 3/4 pints, measures 8" tall x 9", and weighs 53.35 troy ounces.
It has a presentation inscription on the front, "Presented To James Means By The Association Of The Freight Traffic Officers Of The Pennsylvania System Upon His Retirement Dec 31st 1901 After 45 Years Of Service" (see photos).
It is in excellent vintage condition as shown in the photos. Superb!
