About The Record:

Released in 1979, Night Dancer, was soul and disco singer Jeanne Shy's biggest hit. Hailing from Chicago, at just 12 years old, she signed to Chess. The label had their act Tim & Jean record her song Spring Fever, which turned into a local Chicago hit. Once she left high school in 1970, she signed to Brunswick Records. She regularly played with Chaka Khan and toured Europe with Al Green, Gene Chandler, The Stylistics and Jackie Wilson. Together with her husband Edward Walker, she moved to Germany in 1978.
