For your consideration is a wonderful Japanese Antique Yokohama 九谷焼 Kutani Porcelain tea set, signed "Dai Nippon Nakamura Sei". Each piece depicts 18 Geishas engaged in different activities. These pieces are marked as shown on the third photo ("Dai Nippon Nakamura Sei", meaning "Great Japan Nakamura made"). This unique delicate tea set includes the following pieces:

  • A teapot - measures 8 1/4" (209.6 mm) high to the tip of the lid by 8" (203.2 mm) wide from handle to spout;
  • A lidded creamer - measures 5.5" (139.7 mm) high to the tip of the lid by 5" (127 mm) wide from handle to spout; and
  • A lidded sugar bowl - measures 6" (152.4 mm) high to the tip of the lid by 6 1/4" (158.8 mm) wide from handle to handle.
All 3 pieces are in remarkable antique/used condition, free of chips, cracks ore pairs but normal signs of wear on the gold area. They look much better that the posted photos.
