This antique Chinese Altar Table is handcrafted with Manchurian Ash Wood. The intricate carving of the "flying dragon" design decorates both the front and the back of the table. (The table can be used from both sides) The side panels of the table are nicely carved with a traditional Chinese "flower and vase" design. The wood plank used for the surface of this table is more than two inches thick, and it is one single plank of wood (seamless). The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. This is a heavy table with great details of handwork.
