The Collector is the Jubilee Edition, 20^th SCS Anniversary Piece was only available in 2007 and is a stunning representation of nature.  While the name may sound a bit creepy at first (thank you prime-time crime dramas for that), The Collector is very appropriate, as the subject is a Bee collecting pollen from a flower. In this instance the Collector (the bee) has chosen a Hibiscus. The Bee and the flower are crafted in clear crystal with exquisite facets and is accentuated by the Light Peach crystal stamen of the flower. The Swarovski Swan logo, which is larger than normal, The Designer’s initials (AH), and the year (2007) are imprinted on the back of the flower. The sparkle and beauty of this piece is just unbeelievable; sorry I just couldn’t resist.  This is an exquisite piece to add to your collection or to give as a gift to the collector in your life. It is also an amazing alternative to live flowers; I will never understand how a gift that withers and dies in a few days is considered thoughtful. It also makes a great gift for the mother in your life, as Bee’s represent life; except of course for those of us who are allergic – in which case probably not the best gift. Whoever receives this stunning piece of nature captured in crystal will surely be a buzz with excitement.  This Jubilee Edition is BNIB, with the certificate and has only been out for photos.
