Item description for rare ogee clock Forestville Conn OG Shelf Mantel WALNUT reverse painted VIDEO!

RARE! This is the only one currently listed on this site or that has recently sold.

Made by FORESTVILLE out of BRISTOL CONN. USA in the late 1800's.

Large 27 1/2" tall and 16 7/8" wide. Looks to be walnut but please see pictures to be sure.

Includes two weights, pendulum, and key.

Both sides wind. The weights still have their top hooks. The strings that hold the weights are intact. The reverse painted scene has some pealing. The veneer is in good shape with lights signs of age only. (see pictures) RUNS AS SEEN IN VIDEO.....but keep in mind that this is an antique and may need adjustment....especially after shipping. May need oiled as well as there is not history on its maintenance. It has not been tested over an extended time. PLEASE AS QUESTIONS IF NEEDED.
