Vintage New York State Association Fire Chiefs NYFD Black Ceramic Piggy Bank Gold Trim

This is a great vintage piggy bank with the seal of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs on his right side in gold.  This little piggy is in very well maintained pre owned condition with no chips or cracks and measures 7 inches long by 3.5 inches tall by 3.56 inches wide.  The original rubber stopper is a little dry, but not cracked or "crumbly" and should be handled with care.  The bank is black with 14k gold trim and displays the seal of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs on the right side which says "Org. October 18, 1904  Inc. June 5, 1944". 

     New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, located in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY, is a not-for-profit organization with a philanthropic goal.  The mission of the Charity is to benefit the Rensselaer County area and the general public through its work.  NYSAFC is the primary support and source of services to their members, who are the management of the emergency services sector, and is the primary source of information and support for fire service personnel during the industry by: providing education, seminars, and training, developing and providing emergency services information, influencing and assisting in the development of legislation, being the representative voice of the needs and concerns of emergency services providers, promoting new technology, the use of safe work practices, and the development and enforcement of codes and standards, and effecting the reduction of injury, loss of life, and loss of property.
