I knitted these wristlets (also called thumbless mittens) from a 1917 pattern officially endorsed by the American Red Cross. I followed the pattern verbatim. They are 12 inches long. Made with 100% wool (a Merino/Corriedale blend). The color is a dark gray mix. The 1917 pattern recommends olive drab for army, dark blue for navy, or dark gray mix for either. The pattern also recommends 4 ply wool yarn, which is what I used. Sold as one pair. Washing instructions included in package. (They are hand wash and air dry.)
