Offering today some vintage scarves that were all used by the same veteran at different times in his career, all Very Good or better condition. They have every one of them been stored for many years loosely folded over and to look really dress parade sharp you should take them to the cleaners but it will be well worth the acquisition and the short trip. His name was Cox and his first might have been Thomas, I think I have a pair of his khaki slacks also. The scarf and slacks alone would make an interesting combo and you might get some dates. He was also in the 1st Corps and his career may well have overlapped Korea and Vietnam both.
This listing is for a set that are for the First Corps and intended for the dress blues uniform. The dark fabric is a dark blue not a black, likewise for the embroidery. Collars fold under. The white one is about 14" and of a lightweight artificial fabric and made to resemble silk and feels like it, the dark blue is about 12 1/2" also of artificial fabric but stiffer and more artificial feeling. Both have light wear to the embroidery stitching, a thread or two may be loose but I didn't snip anything off. Nothing like them found for sale anywhere so don't miss out.
